Zlib is a library of code that is used very widely in software products to implement ZIP-compatible compression and decompression. The zlib update affects the Windows, Linux and macOS versions of dtSearch products. This version updates the zlib compression/decompression library code in dtSearch to the new zlib version 1.2.12 to remedy a reported memory corruption vulnerability in the zlib library.
